Milano, l2ex ministro Sirchia rinviato a giudizio per corruzione

MILANO - L'ex ministro della Salute del governo Berlusconi, Girolamo Sirchia, è stato rinviato a giudizio con accuse di corruzione e appropriazione indebita. L'inchiesta riguarda presunte tangenti pagate nel mondo della sanità quando Sirchia era primario al Policlinico del capoluogo lombardo.

L'ex ministro è accusato di corruzione e si ipotizza che abbia ricevuto tangenti al fine di agevolare alcune società nella concessione di appalti per la vendita di apparecchiature mediche al Policlinico, e di appropriazione indebita per aver sottratto dei soldi (30mila euro) alla Fondazione 'Il Sangue' di cui era tesoriere. Il processo si svolgerà davanti ai giudici della quarta sezione penale del tribunale di Milano a partire dal 5 giugno prossimo.

Oltre a Sirchia sono stati rinviate a giudizio altre sette persone. Per loro le accuse vanno dalla corruzione all'appropriazione indebita fino alla turbativa d'asta. Rinviata a giudizio anche una società, la Haemonetics Italia, finita sotto inchiesta in base alla legge sulla responsabilità amministrativa delle società.

Il giudice ha inoltre accolto sei patteggiamenti e ha condannato con rito abbreviato due persone a 4 mesi di reclusione e a 400 euro di multa. Le posizioni di altri due imputati, che sarebbero stati protagonisti di un paio di episodi di turbativa d'asta avvenuti all'Ospedale di Treviglio, sono state trasferite per competenza a Bergamo.
